Email format when my name already exists in company

Might be a silly question, but I'm bored out of mind in this general-ed psychology class I'm taking to fulfill the 3 credits I need to graduate this May. I'll be working FT with (GS/JPM/MS) this July and I've noticed that there is already an employee who works in my company with the same exact name as mine. How would they assign my email address? I also do not have a middle name.

Curious.

Well the no middle name adds an interesting twist, but

first initial last name @

first name . last name @

or you could become first name last name the second.

If you're smart enough for GS/MS/JPM, I'm a little disturbed by this question.

"They are all former investment bankers that were laid off in the economic collapse that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have no marketable skills, but by God they work hard."

Those can be possibilities I guess. I haven't put much thought into it as this thread was created very impulsively during my psychology class.

At MS it would First Name.Middle Initial.Last [email protected] [email protected]. Possible the other email would get the middle initial
absolutely no way the other e-mail would get changed, it would disrupt existing relationships

I do agree, however I was a firm a few years back where this happened. It could have been an error, but it was weird none the less

kidflash:
since you said you don't have a middle name, maybe first.x.last@ms/gs.com?
It'll be interesting how this will work. Typically, like you said, it would be first.last@ms/gs.com, but since I don't even have a middle name, wouldn't it be weird to specialize/differentiate my email address from others and putting it as either last.first@gs/ms.com or first.x.last@gs/ms.com? I don't know..
