English language and literature + Masters degree in Finance

Good afternoon,

I'm a student majoring in English with a 4.0 GPA.

I know that some people in banking highly appreciate a quantitave background which I have not so I figured it may be worth to enroll in a pre-Masters programme in Finance since I have to obtain a Masters degree anyway because that's the norm in continental Europe.

My interest in finance was always there in some kind of way but I didn't think about working in it untill I read a few books about it.

Can anyone please tell me what my chances are in banking in this situation because I certainly don't want to throw that amount of money at something I'm not going to use for the purpose of work.

Investment Banking Mock Coffee Chat

“the mentor was great and extremely knowledgeable, the session was good, and I was able to have the ideal coffee chat. The only thing that could be improved was the hours available for scheduling. This was the best mock coffee chat I had and was able to apply the takeaways from my last mock to do very well in this one. Javier was also very helpful to me and we were able to connect and find like interests in our session which only helped to further improve the coffee chat. We could have focused a little more on how to improve, but I was also able to usse and adapt the WSO questions to fir into the conversation. ”
