Equity Research Internship at small Inv. Mgmt firm or Corporate Banking internship at BB Bank?
Looking to break into IB but could not land an internship this summer. However, I currently have offers for an equity research offer at a small firm and a corporate banking analyst offer at a BB bank. I know equity research would better prepare me technically for Ib but the brand name of the bank might look better on a resume. What do you guys recommend?
CB at the BB as they will invest more $ into your training and development.
IMO you should go for CB at the BB, the brand name is just key for future recruiting. You can always prepare the technical aspect of IB on your own (Guides, Stock Pitch Competitions..).
