Hi all, I just got an email for a first round interview at Evercore in the Houston office. I know that this is the energy side of the bank, and was just wondering what kind of techs they will ask. Is it primarily simple accounting, or is it more geared towards actual O&G technicals? Thanks in advance!

Heard from a close buddy who interviewed that it was super technical, like 90% of the interview. He also got into their Houston sophomore program so.
Was it like 90% O&G Technicals, or more general technicals?
He’s right first round is mostly technical, but it’s super straightforward, nothing out of the 400, there are some o&g technicals but those are not hard either
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back about Superdays?

Of course nothing is completely set in stone, but since first rounds were this last week, super day should be this week. Every bank seems to have a very quick turnaround from first round to super day. Hoping to hear something and if I do I’ll let y’all know. It’s a never ending pit of anxiety just waiting around.
Yeah they told me this too, I haven’t heard anything back yet, I think they said that it may come out tomorrow morning as well🤞🏽
