Exit opps for syndicated finance / loan syndications?
Was wondering what are typical exit opps for a loan syndications analyst role within the commercial / corporate banking dept of a large bank. In the job description, it mentions that the loan syndications team works actively with LevFin and IB, so are those common exit opps or are exit opps mostly limited to Corporate / Commercial banking type roles?
Thanks!
Hey Intern in IB - Gen, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I am sad to say, but this thread is lonely, so thought I'd post in here to try and help out. Some potential topics that might help:

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Bumping this up because I have the same question!
What's the difference between loan syndications in corporate banking and commercial banking, like how could it be grouped into 2 different banking divisions?
Size and market participants. A commercial deal might be three banks and very clubby, also the banks themselves may be very different it might be two regionals plus a community bank. Corporate deals are broadly syndicated.
Can you go to private credit from this?
I guess a LevFin exit is within reach
Bump - I’d imagine private credit would be a feasible exit?
Have seen people exit to private credit funds from JPM’s syndicated finance group, anyone else have any insight?
Is JPM Investment Grade to private credit funds feasible
