Feel stuck at cap markets

Currently wrapping up 2nd year at a BB

Feel like I am incredibly behind — we do 0 financial analysis and we just spread comps all days.

Tried lateraling to coverage earlier in the year, got a few final rounds and case studies but all struck out.

Wondering if I should try my luck at MM places? What are some alternative paths outside of the banking that cap markets can lead to?

Can you shed some light on which group you are within capital markets

Have you ever thought about try to move to RX? It would be a tough move but definitely doable.

incoming cap markets intern next summer - is it really that bad? like do you think its better to get out before you even start in it

yeah capital markets sucks. i interned in ECM and left for coverage after the internship and have had a way better experience. capital markets is not the IB you think youre signing up for, zero skills at the junior level, but does seem cool at the senior level tbf.
