First year analyst role at HSBC DCM vs Rothschild Equity Advisory vs. CIT Healthcare levfin
Does anyone have any info on these places and roles? All would be in New York, and I do not know enough about this stuff to know which would provide the best career path.
Rothschild imo, but unsure of deal flow, strongest brand. What role is it in CIT, some strong levfin roles there are good for credit, hsbc dcf does volume, ultimately you have to decide equity vs credit and then bonds vs loans.
The levfin role at CIT would be in their healthcare group if that helps at all
Solid group, I think either cit or Rothschild are both good options, and would lean toward cit personally, but can’t say that I wouldn’t accept Rothschild’s offer. Health care can have interesting buyside opportunities depending on what sort of sub sector you get into. There’s a guide on here about hc ib, would check it out and find out what ipos Rothschild has done. Doing levfin gets you a lot of reps modeling and analyzing companies, and can sure help you in an investment role down the line. I still think Rothschild off of name may open more opportunities, but hc levfin could make you really good
Are these all 1st year FT roles?
Yes
I know that the HC lev fin group at CIT can help you with PE, if thats what you want down the line
