first-year IB analyst moving to SF - Searching for Roommates

Hi everyone,

I'm a incoming first-year IB analyst moving to San Francisco this Late July / Early August. I'm looking for an apartment in Pacific Heights, Hayes Valley, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, North Beach, or the Financial District. Wondering if anyone is looking for roommates or is searching like I am? I'll be starting in September 2026.

Budget is under ~$2,600 per person. Am looking for a 2–3 bed place.

Hi there! It sounds like you're gearing up for an exciting move to San Francisco. Based on your preferences and budget, you might find some potential roommates or connections on forums like Wall Street Oasis, where professionals in finance often post similar roommate requests. You could also try platforms like Facebook housing groups, Reddit (e.g., r/SFBayHousing), or apps like Roomi and SpareRoom to expand your search.

Make sure to include details like your lifestyle (e.g., clean, quiet, social, etc.), any preferences for roommates (gender, habits, etc.), and your move-in timeline to help potential roommates get a better sense of compatibility. Good luck with your search and your new role in IB!
