FT Analyst Advice Needed

Hello, I recently finished interning for a top Group in a top bb. I quickly realized throughout the summer that I really didn’t enjoy the work. I have previous experienced interning in the buy side at a good size shop where I enjoyed the work although it wasn’t buyout pe.

My issue is that I don’t know where to go from here. I can stay in banking and just grind it out, or I can attempt to recruit for ft pe. I have no experience with buyouts, so I’m not sure if I even want to recruit for that type of role. I can recruit for similar buy side experiences to the one that I enjoyed, but I’m not sure if giving up my current brand/position is worth it for something that could limit my exposure.

(I also understand that my experienced with banking was severely limited and that my internship might not be reflective of my work as a ft)

Any advice here would be appreciated.
