Full-Time Online Training Expectations
To those that begin full time work soon, I wanted to start a discussion on what exactly this “online training” will consist of. My BB has provided no actual guide on the details of it, but has said that we are going to be mostly trained by external groups (so TTS type things). 9am -7pm.
What has your firm told you about the logistics / time commitments / etc about your training? Thanks in advance.

We received a general training schedule.
Care to PM more about it? Is it interactive, do you need to be at your desk at all times? Etc
how important are the exams during training? do they send exam scores to staffers? what happens if you get a bad score on the exams?
Not that important as long as you don’t bomb it. They are sent to your firm/staffer tho
what happens if you do bomb it? like get lower than a 70

Also received a schedule consisting of training the street and other supplemental training by external groups. Also laid out which weeks were supposed to study and take series exams with scheduled study time for this weeks.
Training is 9-5 with homework usually given out near the end of the day.
accounting, valuation, and capital markets are taught for several weeks with tests afterwards. then you start studying for your exams of which you just need to get a 72 or higher (if that’s still it) and then you’re a full fledged monkey.
