RX is getting better exits-wise. M&A is getting crowded, but being a top analyst there gives u exits anywhere

Mid analyst placement is MM. I did my analyst stint at Goldman classic, mid placement was MM PE for GS classic. Simply do the math on how many UMM/MF spots there are vs. how many people are competing for them, and median exit will almost always be a MM if large enough sample size (which is the case at EVR and GS). There are at most a total of 40/50 UMM/MF's excluding zombie funds and Goldman classic class is 125+ alone, not everyone is going to place into a UMM/MF PE from any bank.

Will also note that your actual bucket as an analyst is not representative of how you exit. I was a mid-bucket analyst and went to one of the larger UMM's (15bn+ fund size) and there were top bucket analysts that exited into JAMMBO's in the 2-5bn fund size range. PE recruiting is so early that they are not selecting for best analysts, just people who can BS through investment rationale and LBO's.

coming from someone who is glazing EVR in your recent comments, don't be so hurt ab getting dinged you never really had a chance buddy lmao
