Not Gen Z, but I hate Word. The worst part about debt / equity transactions is using that stupid program for the OM / S-1. Everything is so clunky compared to PPT and it runs slow and formatting is difficult. Google docs is also better if it needs to be something written long-form, then at least you can edit live / comment with other people.

We are more accustomed to using Google Docs. This is because our teachers often required us to collaborate on projects in middle school and high school. Google Docs provided a convenient way to share our work with group members and work on the same document. I also find using Google Drive more convenient than searching through my computer files for Word documents.

Used Google Docs for documents all through middle school and high school. Also used Google Slides and Google Sheets instead of Powerpoint and Excel for all of those years.

Agree with the other guy who also mentioned google docs. Back in middle school my district gave all the kids chromebooks to use for assignments and they based the whole system around google classroom, drive and docs so thats what a lot of us are used to now. Even now in college I still primarily use docs even tho I have access to word

Like everyone has said we used docs. With Microsoft 365 you can actually edit with people at the same time so that's cool. I've made a conscious effort to only use Word since college as it's the business standard

Disagree with those above me who support Docs. Docs sucks for everything except for the fact you can "collaborate"... Word is way better for typesetting (like equations for finance equations), image placement/cropping and custom formatting. I only would use Docs if i need to type a body of text in Arial lol.

Growing up our school district got chromebook and everything was done on google apps. Also collaborating on docs and slides was extremely useful as group projects have become more and more common (were they not before? idk)

Gen Z here. Am I the only impoverished cuck who had to use some variation of outdated Microsoft Word growing up? People at college now who use any of the Google suite piss me off - especially fucking Slides which is like the Walmart version of PPT. My school literally pays ridiculous amounts for Office 365 and these morons can't even figure out how to share a doc in OneDrive. Yes, I'm a non-target and yes most of the people at my school are idiots (maybe I am too, who knows).

Shit post over.
