Looking for updates on how applications are progressing for GS FT 2023 Program in London. I applied to IBD but am yet to hear back regarding the next stages. Anyone else in the same situation

Any updates on the headcount of new hires compared to previous years?
I would assume this stays unchanged with higher rates of lay offs in the future?
They aren't taking many new hires from what I have heard (am a GS A1). Expect recruitment to be done by November. They returned a lot of people from the summer which may be a particular reason.
what about for FT AM (all subdivisions like client group etc)
There not hiring any A1s this cycle
so why do they have a 2023 new analyst programme to apply for?

This is true, I have been hearing about this - word around the floor is there won't be an A1 intake. Mass rejections will probably take place soon

Just received confirmation: no IBD FT new analyst intake for '23 at Goldman Sachs. Only summer analysts and deferrals this year! Expect auto-rejections soon...
what an incompetent hr could have atleast saved us from writing a cover letter and submitting an application...pathetic

Everyone check your Goldman Sachs candidate portal, a rejection/ding should be there for all Full Time roles. As I said, there was a hiring freeze this year
