Goldman Sachs Off Cycle Internship

I applied to the Goldman Sachs Off Cycle Internship in New York and I had a superday with two back to back interviews,t his was Friday the 18th. Yesterday, I got a call saying that I am still considered and they will have everything finalized by the end of next week. If I was about to receive an offer I would have heard back already. But I am not rejected...yet. Can someone please explain the meaning of this?

Off-cycle and non traditional internship programs generally take a little longer time for turn around in responses. That being said, there is also a chance that you are on their wait list to see if anyone they extended offers to turned them down. No point worrying about it, there is nothing you can do; it is simply a waiting game now.

I know this is an old post, but I just had my video interview for an Off-cycle internship in NYC for Goldman Sachs. I was wondering if you could give me any insight about how long the waiting period was before you heard back from when you applied, or just your application to interview/offer timeline. Any input or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
