Groups with Less Modeling
In a model heavy group and thankful I’ve gained the skills, but really don’t enjoy sitting in a model the majority of my day. Any groups / firms that are model light, thinking product groups?

Career Resources
Tech is generally modeling light. You could also go to ECM or DCM - at least at the bank I was at there was way less modeling there. Stay away from anything real-asset based or capital intensive (infra, natural resources, real estate, FIG etc.).
Agree with this sentiment. Worked in real estate IB, it was modelling heavy. Very modelling intensive.
Echoing feedback on top, ECM / DCM tends to be VERY light on modeling. The following feedback is specifically for DCM (assuming IG corporate coverage vs HY), the only real “modeling” that you do is prob running breakeven analysis / liability management (most teams likely have an existing template in place). Otherwise, you will spend most of your capacity doing market / pricing updates (in the context of any banks that can underwrite via balance sheet and not EBs). If WLB is a big consideration then this is a great role.
Do whatever is the opposite of Infra
Sorry to hijack your post but is private credit modeling heavy?
Depends on the underlying business the fund is financing / level of information provided by Sponsor/DD
