Accounting apprenticeship at B4 (2 Years) 1 AM 6 Month internships 1 Infra PE Internship (6 Months still in this now) Currently hold an offer in private credit but looking for M&A. Semi target MSc Finance without an undergrad as went the apprenticeship route.

Apparently – and that also means my 2 IB internships (6-ish months combined) & non–finance-related 1yr FT with non-target bachelors & masters stand no chance with the profiles I see here

US/UK Dual Citizen, US T15 (Semi-target/Target) school, 2 MMPE SA (SF Bay Area, Same shop, high-pedigree)

I have an itch to work in the UK lol (studied abroad at UCL and enjoyed LDN)

Looks like a bunch of mm scrubs tbh but guess that’s fitting considering roths’ MM mandates

12 month MM PE, 2 x IB (L)MM Internships. UK Target Masters.

Yeah this is fucked level of competition. Makes me so angry at how easy things were before lol.

I did secure something in PE but it's not convertible. I got nowhere with BBs or EBs (no first rounds, good OTs). No idea what happened this cycle. I had more interviews when I had a shitty sales internship.

Was in a few PE off-cycle processes but dropped the ball in final rounds.

this competition cannot be real lol.....average 1.5 years standard of experience......im cooked with my one BB SA in AM, at a UK Target

I got learning agility & credibility as my strong points, and time management as my weak point. Have NOT received an invite yet but I did complete the assessment somewhat later.

For those who did get the first-round invite: Do you know where this Teams link is? It's not in the calendar event, and I can't find it on the careers page.

Probably stupid question, I’m study in London for the year, and from the US, is it common to have off cycle internships in the UK, if so are you going to BB/MM/EB or boutique banks?

My g, I mean this in the best possible way, but do u actually think anyone is gonna give u anything to work on given how competitive this process is? I could tell u that it would be a typical behavioral interview. Just practice from the guides.

lol what. I did first round late last week and they said 7-10 days (maybe less) til I hear back

xyzx

I had mines last week but haven’t heard anything yet, was told they’d reply in 2 weeks time for an end of July AC

same! But I saw someone above say offers are out, so I guess there might be 2 or more batches? I know ppl did first round 2 weeks earlier than me

Hey Guys it may be far-fetched but I wanted to throw the question out there just to see if people are in the same boat. I applied on 7th July did the online assessment, on my portal it says application received so I haven't received a notification stating I was unsuccessful/rejected. I did not get any mail regarding assessment centre invites like the discussion being done here.

Should I just assume I am cooked, and they did not bother to let me know if I was rejected ...or what?

Of those who were told that the AC will take place two weeks later, have you received anything?

Hi guys, just to let you know.

I started the process in june, did the AC 5th of july. Got a call yesterday letting me know I fortunately passed.

I guess you should be receiving the call soon if passed, good luck to all of you!
