That mofo has posted 3 threads about GS and still can't fucking understand that they don't do OC

Not IBD but still a very good opportunity - GSAM does OCs. Had SDs with their corporate equity and real estate direct investing teams

I am interested in two divisions for the off-cycle, and about to send off my application, might be a bit too late but worth a try.

Also, just wondering what was the process after the MD reached out?

Which divisions you looking at? Interviewed for them and happy to share my thoughts / answer questions. Rooting for you!

Thanks!

Quite opposite ends of the spectrum but S&T and GSAM Real Estate, which makes the cover letter awkward. I didn't manage to get an internship and I just graduated, so im not being hopeful but still try.

What divisions did you apply to?

How long did you hear back after you sent off your application and what was the process afterwards?

Sure, always happy to help. I applied for GSAM Corporate Equity and RE. Don't worry too much about cover letter - nobody cares about those. Just avoid obvious typos, add some personalization but it's the last thing that will make or break your application. I heard back for a pre-recorded video interview about a week after submitting application. Each round after that generally came around a month apart, sometimes a bit longer. Definitely a more drawn out timeline as it's OC but I would suppose you might be able to push this if you have competing offers in hand.
