Yes especially with the FDA approval. It’s now no different than requiring kids to be vaccinated before going to school - maybe now we can actually progress to some idea of normalcy.
Will they eventually fire you? Most people don’t want to go back to the office. Why not lie and say you haven’t been vaccinated?
That’s what I was thinking
Is your temporary comfort of WFH worth finding out?
I feel like this is the kinda thing where if you’re not a senior bringing in revenue, you don’t have a realistic choice. It might be more for those boomer rainmakers who really don’t wanna get vaxxed and the company is like, w/e. Willing to bet they’ll ask for vaccination status before taking interns next year.
Hopefully all other firms follow this model
JPM will have a similar mandate soon, if there isn't one in place already. BofA/CS/Citi/Barclays/etc. will too I'm sure. I think it's just going to be like the pay-raise situation where once 1-2 firms started raising, an equilibrium was reached within a few months. No way the rest of the BBs will hold out once their competition prove you can put your foot down on these things.
Seems legit. If you still don't want to take an FDA approved vaccine, then just stay at home
What if you just wanna stay at your beach house in Miami?
Then only if I'm invited
"If you want to get paid New York rates, you work in New York. None of this, 'I'm in Colorado...and getting paid like I'm sitting in New York City. Sorry, that doesn't work"

That statement made no sense to me when he said it considering in IB everyone is paid pretty much the same across each level (An, As, VP, etc.) regardless of location.
" Those who aren’t fully vaccinated by then will have to work from home"
Oh No! work from home! Please don't do that to me GS, I would do anything to ride the subway to lower Manhattan and work until 2am in person everyday.
even if banks don’t fire you for not getting vaccinated, if you’re entire team is in the office and you’re at home you really think they’re going to remember to loop you in to all those last min meetings and calls? wfh is great if everyone is wfh but if it’s only you, you’re screwed.
