GUIDANCE NEEDED! STUDENT
HI GUYS! I wanted to know how does one get a job as an IB in the M&A dep? Are there separate internships for this, or when you get hired in the IB division it's based on your luck to be placed in M&As?
Usually you apply as a generalist and then go through group placement which is like speed dating and you get put into a group
I thought we get to choose where we want to go. Then i guess getting into M&A is even harder than just breaking into IB.
