I second the above post. I hit the desk around 7 months ago, and definitely had some harsh adjustments from my sabbatical between graduation and working.  I have found that prioritizing is key.  Do you prioritize exercise? Then wake up before work and get a workout in.  Do you prioritize sleep / rest?  Wind down as soon as your team is signed off for the night, and avoid mindless scrolling in bed.  Do you prioritize friendships?  See your friends / roommates on nights / weekends when work is less busy.

Find what you really care about and prioritize it.  Personally, I wake up at 6am every day I do not work past midnight to get an hour-long workout in.  On weekends, I see my friends when I can, understanding that work can blow this up.  My girlfriend lives in a different city, which I have found is strangely okay given she works in a similar role and is very busy as well.  When I am with her every 2-3 weeks I can fully devote my attention to her and when we are apart I can dedicate my time to work.

The hardest part of the job is that in most cases it is impossible to balance fitness, sleep and relationships.  I had to cut down on sleep to prioritize the other two.  My $0.02 but am curious to hear others' routines.
