Help needed on BB Research Super Day, my first super day ever.

Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to read this post.

HR told me the entire process would take 4-5 hours.

First, what's the procedure? How many rounds? 2-1 or 3-1? How much of it is fit? how much is technical? My first round was virtually all fit.

I will study:

DCF/FCF, all the ratios, how financial statements are linked to each other, the general fit questions, economic predictors, etc

What else should I study. Im only a second year, so I havent learned a lot of really technical stuff yet.

Are research people generally nice or can they also be assholish? I understand it's not as competitive as M&A or ibanking, but how competitive is this kind of position (it;s a summer internship)?

Any information will be appreciated.

Research class sizes are small. This past summer I interned at a BB and there were only 7 of us (at the undergraduate level).

Be prepared to recommend a stock and/or talk about a specific sector. Also know where research fits in the scheme of things and the way in which it is distributed to investors. Have firm specific questions ready.

Try to get your eyes on a copy of The Vault Guide to the investment banking interview, where they have a few sample questions to expect during a research interview.
