Help With Group Selection for SA 2024
Incoming IB SA for 2024 and need a bit of guidance for group selection. My top two are doing deals in M&A or LevFin. The banks M&A presence is not huge in the US but is rapidly growing (decent in Europe and mainly LATAM), but their LevFin team is incoming legacy CS people that were up there with BAML and JPM LevFin a couple years back (does this give the bank away lol)? To give a bit more context, my long term is PE; not sure what would be the better option in this case. Also, I do understand the whole do what you like thing, but I am indifferent between the two.
