Highest Paying Banks (Non EB/BB/MM)
In a recent thread someone posted what is written below. Given places like Gordon Dyal, I was wondering if someone could give any insight as to other specialized boutiques with comparable compensation?
I work at a complete no-name highly specialized boutique IB (<10 headcount) and would get laughed out of the room if I were to encourage people with good experience to apply to my firm if they didn't know comp.
In my mid 20s, gonna clear probably $550k this year as an As1, averaging maybe 30-35 hrs/week of work, if that.
Bump
Qatalyst, Ducera (not fully sure on the latter)
LionTree
They pay really high but the hours are brutal from what I've heard. On LinkedIn a decent amount of people who summered there recruited for a different bank or consulting/something else FT.
Most people who didn’t go back for FT didn’t get a return
35 hrs a week?
Tell me the firm name and I quit my job and work for you right now.
This has posted on numerous threads. Below is a non-exhaustive lists of very well paying boutiques. Note, these places are all very difficult to recruit for.
Qatalyst
Ducera
Gordon Dyal
M Klein
Robey Warshaw
Liontree
Intrepid Financial Partners
Raine
Allen & Co.
One of those is not like the other lol…
Know An1s at all but Robert Warshaw and Dyal and all cleared $200k this past year
Is the firm mentioned Berenson? Heard they pay really well but are very very tiny.
This is likely Foros
Nobody would laugh if someone said they worked at Foros. I’m assuming it’s a shop nobody has ever heard of
Yeah, I feel like Foros is relatively well-known

Ardea by far
The top guy there is one of the most intense motherfuckers in the world.
Any idea what all in for AN1 (including signing bonus) would look like?
I know an An2 who cleared 335k all in at a tiny niche boutique. It’s a four man show so there are fewer mouths to feed and they had a bunch of solid deals so there was a lot to go around. Poor kid got absolutely smoked though. Worked so, so hard.
People who work at these super well-paying boutiques are unlikely to ever reveal their firm name to a forum, because they don't want to blow up their spot. Otherwise they'll have people clamoring to work there. All the true diamonds in the rough are a secret to most
SVB Leerink. $200k+ for an1
An1 is >$200k at a number of shops this year, including more traditional banks
Source?
Anyone know what comp is like at incentrum? They’ve been recruiting a decent number of candidates from my school (top target -HYP) these past few cycles.
