Hiring for full time at BBs

Hello,

I am a junior international student at an Ivy League school. I applied to many internship programs this fall but was able to secure only 3 interviews and ended up getting an investment banking internship offer from European bank in NYC. The bank is big in its main region but is new to the US.

I missed on a lot of networking opportunities due to the nature of the program I am in this year. I was wondering if people had any advice on how to secure a full-time offer with a BB or if it is even possible to do so for next year?

Also, I am a computer science major with decent research experience. I was wondering if I would be better off applying for technology departments or would I be better off applying for IB considering that I have not internship experience in tech?

Any advice on networking or how to maximize my chances. What should I start doing now ?

Thanks for the help.
