How would you recommend studying for an interview with the group? Haven’t seen many resources online

Idk why my original comment got MS…

It’s going to be pretty similar prep to any other IB/M&A role. There are a number of threads on here that discuss how GP stake modeling works - fairly similar to a DCF in that you are projecting out manager mgmt fees / carry and discounting it back (so understand how mgmt fees and carry are calculated). Would understand the rationale for why sponsors would sell a stake - need more capital to support GP commit for larger / more funds, want to generate liquidity for founding partners / succession planning or want to bring on strategic partners to help them scale (last one is kinda BS cuz they really just want the cash).

Outside of those, would just know your standard IB 400 technicals.

Pretty sure the group head is poached from Carlyle or some big funds. Juniors level people are also sharp. Great shop and they’re absolutely killer in the space.
