I am not sure about HL RX, but for CF I think they sponsor case by case. The HRs told me that they do not sponsor first-year analyst but is open to considering sponsorship after the first year. The firm also suggests you to work on your F-1 status as long as possible, which means that you must have a STEM OPT extension in order to be considered for H1B sponsorship. This is a weird policy but I think it's because they are afraid of you leaving after they sponsored your H1B.
Canadian in SD process with HL RX NY. They're willing to sponsor Canadians if you're good enough. Seems like they're more open to it than last year.
