How fucked am I for IB Interviews??

Current sophomore at Semi-target, 4.0 GPA. I have a decent technical foundation (can confidently answer +10 depreciation and what happens to statements, walking through dcf, and ranking valuation methods and why) . But I cant do the paper lbo yet or have the IRR memorized, nor can I do accretive/dilutive questions.

I have finally learned how to network properly (not ask dumbass questions, get to know them and NOT ASK FOR REFERRAL or anything like that) and have made some solid connections at banks I'm interested in . If I have a decent personality, and can answer the easy technicals should I be fine for SA 2025 recruiting? I am not going for any of the top shops, I would be happy with a lower ranking BB bank as long as not ECM.

Also I am in SEO/MLT.

Mate, most of the things you listed would take like 2-5 days to learn. Just spend a weekend on it.  Accretion/dilution is definitely a topic you should know, so is IRR/MoM and you should be able to explain the logic and mechanics behind and LBO. Probably not doing and actual paper LBO but thats just a very small step and some practice if you can explain how an LBO works but for now probably you don’t need a paper LBO.

This is an extremely competitive field with a horrible market right now - Maximize your preparedness and do not leave anything for chances from your part (especially being a semi-target). There is a shit ton of luck in recruiting anyway do not further increase the chance of failure by not properly prepping fir technicals (literally interview prep is the most straightforward part of recruiting).
