How many spots are there?
Just wondering, how many seats are there each year for bankers (analysts) in EB/BB banks each year? Only really interested in summer analyst spots and then conversion into FT offers.

For IB: ~1.2-1.4k BB/EB spots, ~1-1.5k MM/BSB spots, ~low hundreds LMM Boutique.
For S&T: maybe ~1-1.2k total?
For SS R: ~low hundreds? (seems like more people move into sellside research after getting experience vs post-undergrad)
For AM / HF: ~sub a hundred?
For Private Capital ( PE / VC / GE / PrivCredit etc): ~sub a hundred?
