How to have interviews for FT as a summer analyst?
Curious how people manage interviews during their stint as a summer analyst as getting the return is really important. Scheduling, prepping etc..
Edit: More curious about actually taking time off work to do an interview while the internship is going on
Just get the return offer, write a really good resume with deal experience and apply cold. You will be fine trust.
did you do this?
Yeah man. I made it 8 superdays, all cold apply. I would say they were very good shops in the MM.
i mean more like how to schedule interviews during ur internship
Don't lmaoo, unless its like sure a BB or EB. You would take the call when you are working at home, or on your lunch break. You could go to the conference room and take the call, but thats always a risk.
Bump
I scheduled interviews for early Friday mornings since most people WFH then but this is group dependent. Firms that are recruiting during the summer recognize that you’re interning and trying to get a return so they will be kinder about working around your schedule.
Do you have any tips on how to get into the process in the first place? Did you start networking in May/June?
