now imagine on top of that having to put together 50 page memos for internal approval. and its not one memo per deal. multiple shitmemos need to be done, one for vetting the analyst, one for background checks, one for checking what we had for dinner last night, you know..
in most banks it would be as simple as copy pasting everything from the pitch/ cim, but compliance here is strict asf. you work for the client and compliance at the same time - comments range from what was the rationale to hire this ceo to what color was x board member's shit on 04/15/1996.
if i get another comment from compliance when staffed on multiple deals (keep in mind internal approvals are top priority) im gonna make the most out of home office and throw myself out the window
