IB education issue

Just wondering if GPA from second bachelor's in finance will be considered separately from my undergrad science GPA (shitty 3.0ish). I just wanna know if it's worth doing or if I should work, get an MBA and try to get in on 2nd round of recruiting as an associate. Merci!

dont get another bachelors. work in something related, rule at it and then shoot for an mba.

alternatively get a masters degree if you are able to get into a good one now.

K, thanks guys, so masters (even if in biotech kind of theme) I guess would show the B-schools that I am capable of high-level academic performance, that is required for MBA ...

I think he was referring to some sort of Masters in Finance... usually just a one year program I believe

Don't give up man! If you really want i-banking just start networking, it never hurts. You may get some brutally honest answers but that doesn't mean you can't kick a$$ at a FT Job and leverage that into a good MBA or something. There was just a post on here about a guy who was a Bank Teller at an HSBC branch and he got into Harvard Business School... so looks like anythings possible!

And I am not suggesting anything but keep in mind: More Money + More Prestige =/= Happiness. Plenty of awesome fulfilling jobs out there besides IB if you're not really interested in the type of work.

Trying your luck at networking if you have another year of college left would be my best advice. If nothing comes of it then getting an MBA from a top 10 program would be the next best thing you can do. Do not do an MS in Finance. It gets you no where.
