IB SA Pay

Hi all, just got an offer and curious as to what intern pay roughly should be. I know there are a ton of incoming SAs and those of us getting 2023 SA offers, so what is everyone getting / what should we be happy with? And do we have any say at all (Id guess not)?

I’m wondering the same thing…

I got a SA 2023 BB CIB offer, 2.5k sign bonus and 80k prorated.

Seems low but im wondering if SA pay is usually lower than FT AN1

Some banks pay by the hour too so people there make so much money!Like wells pays 40/hour plus OT so on a 65-70 hour workweek, you would take home like 3100-3400 a week so over the ten weeks around 31k-34k. This is not including them paying for your flight tickets and the bonus. I know MS pays 50/hour so they make even more. Hourly banks are the top of the line outside of the huge quant firms that are just insane

Other firms will pay more hourly up to 40hours, then pay .5 OT.

BofA for my 2022 SA is like 30/hour regular and then 45/hour OT

It ends up all being similar besides Wells. Wells pays a ton.

CS: 100k pro-rated (so 48.08/hour), with OT at 24.04/hour. Pretty happy about it.

Don't think JPM has OT for the whole summer though, my letter says OT only for a "training period"... unless the entire internship is the training period and not just the first week of training
