IB SA Salary - What do I do with it?

Hi Monkeys,

I know some of you guys probably went the "models and bottles approach" with your SA gig, but my only bottles were Pepsi and now I have a decent amount saved from the summer.....what do I do with it - how should I invest it to help my future? (~$11k)

Sure, if you don't do your research, you'll lose your money -- but that's the case with most asset classes. Please don't discourage someone from getting in on the ground floor of something that will disrupt a tremendous amount of industries and processes.

OP: throw in a few thousand into Ethereum and some ICO tokens (but only if you have conviction in the ICO's premise/offering since they are at the end of the day ... simply a group of 5-10 people with a 20-30 page white paper).

Spend it going out, buying your friends drinks and a great spring break. Fly some girl you met to visit you for a weekend. Use this money as your last horrah.

Save $1,500 or something to put down for your security deposit when you move to the city, but otherwise plan to have spent the entire amount.

why would you try to get a bottle on nye in Vegas, you're paying huge mark up and no server is gonna waste their time on 4 college dudes sucking on a bottle. Get hammered on the strip and find some specials at the clubs.

26 Broadway where's your sense of humor?
