IBD in Canada

I'm currently getting an MBA at target school in Canada and I'd like to know more about the sell-side here, for example what's the environment in a big 5 bank, the comp, the hours, etc.

Plus, is switching to the buy-side (private equity, aum, pension funds) in Canada really worth it after a couple of year in IBD or is staying in investment banking a better option?
