Investment Banking, ROSENBAUM, PEARL Book Vs. Breaking into Wall Street

Guys,

What are your thoughts on the best way to prepare for an interview and on the job IB Analyst work? After just skimming through the IB book by Rosenbaum & Pearl, for those of you that may not know of it, it is called, "Investment Banking: Valuation, Leveraged Buyouts, and Mergers and Acquisitions" (link below); I found that BIWS captures most of the concepts present in this book, except the book provides for more of a granular, detailed level of all steps in a deal.

Basically, what I want to know is that should I spend my time reading the whole book, or going through all of BIWS? Thanks in advance for all your help!

BIWS will prepare you for what you need to know in an interview. Rosenbaum will teach you every little thing, including things you won't need to know.

That said, Pat is now a supporter of Wall Street Prep. Click the "Modeling" button at the VERY top right under Recent/Forums/FAQs etc will take you to their modeling products page and give you a 15% discount.
