Is Michael Gatto's The Credit Investor's Handbook a good replacement for Moyer's Distressed Debt Analysis for RX recruiting
Saw that some people say that Gatto was a good alternative to Moyer and was just wondering if that's true. Can anyone comment on this?
Gatto is an easier read. Would say they’re more complements than substitutes of one another.

Yes, don't waste your time on moyer. Gatto is great and if you want to read a book read that instead.

10/10 book, and Mr. Gatto is available by email to answer questions. It’s written like Dale Carnegie - easy to read and lots of stories that illustrate points - but you still learn a ton.
Do you think it's still necessary to read Moyer, or is Gatto pretty comprehensive in regards to distressed debt/rx technicals?
It was more qualitative, talking about bankruptcy and distressed strategies. It was great at explaining topics like subordination and capital structures. It didn’t cover topics like bond math or more math-y techs.
Slightly off topic but any good books for understanding DCM basics? I work with them a lot and don't know what they do
