J.P. Morgan Hong Kong

I recently received an interview invitation from JPM. (She didn't tell me which office; I assumed it is HK because she called me through a phone to invite me to an interview) Anyone knows about JPM HK 1st round? I heard it is completely technical?

I had a phone interview last Tuesday and heard back yesterday regarding face-to-face interview, but not sure if this is superday. The email said a recruiting team will be flying over from Hong Kong, so I just hope it is...

Got an email with details, and it said it will have a written test. Is this going to be Mandarin translation? I am Korean candidate with limited Mandarin skills, and I wrote "Mandarin (Basic)" on my resume. Will they expect me to be fluent in Mandarin?

I'm not sure if you will be tested for Mandarin but I know Korean bankers at JP Morgan who cover korean and non-Chinese clients. Btw which city are you based in?

No, but basic conversational level. You will be tested.

If you have not heard back, chances are it's a no. I personally thought the interviews were downright scary, but I guess it depends on who you got.

Applied/Submitted on September 1st for CIB; the yello portal still showed Application submitted (also shows the 'Edit', 'Withdraw' buttons. Does this mean I got rejected?

No, it does not mean that.
