Anyone else noticing JPM people being awful for cold emails -- Sent over 30+ and most responses are requests to apply online.
Had one guy offer to forward my email.
Other guy forwarded it to HR and they emailed me to fuck off and apply online as well.
Curious to hear about anyone else experiencing this?

JPM doesn’t do referrals by networking anymore and base it almost entirely on the pymetrics stuff if i’m not mistaken. everyone at the firm knows this so most probably aren’t willing to talk because it’s a waste of both of your time
it's prob bc right now is not a good time to network since group placement is coming up and everyone is busy talking to incoming SAs
During my recruitment cycle (SA 2022), cold emailing and networking calls did not affect your chances of getting an interview, and it was instead based on pymetrics. JPM also went fairly late relative to other firm. Maybe the people you networked with weren't interested in speaking because of these factors
