If both NY, then go to GHL. Better pay and exits will be generally in-line with JPM FIG.
Anecdotally, I've heard the culture at JPM FIG is bottom of the barrel.
yes both NY thanks, does GHL have any MF exits?
I think mostly MM / UMM exits, but MF would not be unavailable to you. Would just need to be a little bit more proactive and hustle.
At GHL and I can confirm there's been exits to MFs. Generally, people realize the MF life isn't worth the grind and exit to places where a better lifestyle is available. But if you want it, the path is available.
JPM... GHL is not going to get you to MF, unless you're looking for MF Credit. GHL could be cool though given small # of analysts. Did a HH get you involved with them?
yep HH, interesting
Any HH you recommend for lateral recruiting? Coming from a BB IB group and thinking about moving to a different group.
JPM is a top name, and if you are competent then your resume will get you MF interviews. GHL is like MoCo Jr. IMO. But out of curiosity, what HH? Not Selby Jennings or GQR, right?
Those are scams, real HHs would just reach out to you.
