JPM Global Private Investments (GPI) vs MM IB for Junior Summer?
Currently have a sophomore summer internship at a MM PE fund with $4B+ AUM and am interested in PE/IB long term.
I recently received an offer for JPM Private Bank's Global Private Investments (GPI) program for junior summer within Investment Solutions and am trying to understand how it is viewed relative to traditional finance paths.
For junior summer, would you take JPM GPI over a solid MM IB internship? How is GPI viewed by PE and IB recruiters, and what types of opportunities would you consider clearly better than it?
Trying to figure out whether this is something I should lock up or continue recruiting aggressively for other roles.
