JPM Industrials Culture

Hi everyone, I recently interviewed with JPM industrials but have heard conflicting things about their culture. Any insights anyone has into the group would be super helpful!

I don't work there but I met around 15 of them (juniors & seniors) at networking sessions and I thought jeez they remind me of the Addams family. If this is what they're like during informal events, imagine what they're like in the office

Long story short, couple of friends ended up at FIG. Word on the street is the local morgue in town has a more collegiate atmosphere and at least the dead do not excessively berate you

Lol, jesus dude.

You're spending your new years eve bashing a group anonymously online because you met a small portion of them at a networking session and thought they were weird?

Did you read my post? I'm telling you what my friends have said who literally work there and are unhappy. I'm not going out of my way to bash them, I'm giving OP here an anecdotal point of reference

Having said this, JPM FIG are absolute beasts in dealflow. You get through 2 years there and your resume rivals the best in terms of the quality of deals you work on. I will also never question your work ethic and ability to grind through pressure
