Junior Transfer GPA Issues

If I transfer from a T25 business program to a T20 economics program (say Northwestern/Vanderbilt/Duke/etc.) as a junior for my own personal reasons (i.e after recruiting ended), how will banks treat that? Will they get mad that I changed up everything that they recruited me on, or will they appreciate the better prestige?

Also, the issue with junior transferring is that my GPA resets back to 0.0 and I only have 2 yrs left to build it back up and effectively every course matters 2x... in case I fuck up my classes or get a few too many Bs, will they have mercy due to the new major new GPA or rescind me based on not holding up my initial GPA (which used to be a 3.8ish at the T25)?

Appreciate any input.

just put ur old GPA on ur resume as well - and then ur new one under new school - you already made the decision tho so u have to live with it. just get good grades lol its not that hard to get a 3.6+

Transferred from a state school to an ivy in college. An alum who graduated from the school I transferred into told me to just average it and had no problem.

Simply don’t get a B. Like that should never even be a thought. YOU CANT let that be an option. Truth be told, junior year transfer isn’t a great idea but if you are going into it with the mindset of what if this happens or what if that happens then you are already losing. You need to go into it with the mindset of I NEED to leave no doubt. With such a small margin of error make sure you have no error.
