Anyone here got summoned for jury duty while working? How did you navigate it? Do people often serve jury duty while working in IB?

everyone’s pretty chill about jury duty in my experience. in NYC you get to delay it like 3 times and it’s up to a 6 month delay each time or so. at the end of the day it’s a legal obligation so anyone in their right mind isn’t going to stop you from going. now that being said...don’t fucking get selected and end up on like the George Floyd murder trial or some shit. really just don’t get chosen for anything. it’s not that hard to be convincing. people may get ticked off if you actually end up serving on a trial but hey at the end of the day you gotta serve
