Lack of experience a major roadblock for an athlete?

Here is my situation. I attend a target school, think top NESCAC where I play two sports. However one of my sports requires that I play/train in the summer and due to this I have never and will likely never have the chance to do a relevant internship. I am only a sophomore but at the moment I have just above a 3.6 with majors in Econ and French ( I speak French fluently). Will this lack of experience hurt me later down the road?
