Landing Summer Internship in IB

Hello Monkeys,

I am an Eastern European student, studying in another country* (Denmark). My major is Economics and Business Administration in pretty good university ( not prestigious in business field tho). My GPA is around 3.8 and I have 4 month experience as BA in SME and will most likely gather 7-8 month work exp. as part-time marketing assistant by next summer.

I recently realized that my skills, competences and interests lead to IB, however my background doesn't seem very relevant (it does, but to a very limited extent).

I am thinking to apply to all possible IB summer internships around the world for 2019 and travel wherever i need as i have saved enough cash from working part-time. So my questions are: 1. What should I do throughout this year or next 3-5 months (most deadlines are sep-oct-dec) in order to increase chances of getting an internship ? 2. What are the chances of landing an internship?

Thank you for the answers :)

  • I have a language barrier in this country. My home-country does not have any prestigious opportunities.
