To those who have gone through interviews for LaTam IB, are interviews entirely in Spanish?

When you’re networking/coffee chatting bankers do you send cold outreach in Spanish and have conversations in Spanish?

I’m fluent but have never really used Spanish in professional settings where I’m discussing finance topics (EBITDA/Valuation/DTLs & DTAs etc)

Also, are these positions really competitive or is competition less intense because fewer applicants speak Spanish?
