M&A Law internship as a business student?
Do you think it would make sense to do some sort of M&A nternship at a top 3 law firm in order to put yourself in a better position for 2021 off-cycle or full time applications? Or would it just look weird and be useless? I am asking because I will do an internship in IB at a lower tier 1 bank during the coming summer but will try to get a place at another firm and another location for 2021 and I know someone who could place me in a programme at one of the law firms.
If anyone has made experiences with this or has heard about something like it, I would appreciate some short advice a lot. Also, this is in Europe where people can start studying law at a Bachelor level and then complete such internships as well, so the larger barrier of having to go to law school doesn't exist.
