M&A (Math/Statistics)
Hi
Should I invest my time learning math or statistic to improve my skills in M&A?
Will those subjects help me?
Thanks

Arithmetic will be useful, but being able to prove Bessel's correction probably won't. If you can do a little mental math (most helpful for interviews and rough checking models), you'll be fine. I wouldn't go sign up for linear algebra just because you want to improve your IB skills. I assume you're not actually in M&A (yet), so the best use of your time is learning everything in the WSO Technical Interview Guide. I was an applied math major, and while my background was sometimes a talking point, none of the math I studied is particularly useful.
