Major Certifications Before College

I've been hearing talk about kids securing higher level certifications for college acceptance, if you're exclusively seeking the Finance route with the first leg in IBD, what would be priority and do-able certifications to show Wharton you're completely serious about it?

CFA, PRM, FRM, CFP, CFS, CIC, ChFC, CIMA, CMT, CPA, PFS, CLU?

Which? Obviously doing the official 2013 certifications to the current microsoft office suite is easy (Excel, Outlook, Word, Presentation)

OP you honestly need CFA level 3 minimum to get into Wharton or at least Actuary lvl 6.

kids these days...at the end of the tunnel it still is "all for naught"

Dude, what is up with all of these scenario posts you keep making? Since you say "college" and not "business school", I assume that you are talking about undergraduate. How on Earth would a high school student posses any of those certifications?

I see, so it's prob not a good idea at a undergrad/grad level to do these. Thank you.

I mean...you really don't need any of these. I plan on knocking out CFA L1 my senior year but that's just me. Between the time you spend going to class/studying/networking you should spend your free time partying, fucking girls, and experimenting with acid - not studying more for something you don't really need.

You need to be in your last year of study to register for the CFA I and need to have graduate to register for the CFA II. I took the CFP my Junior year undergraduate and it was hell with studying, school work, and a part time job.

Chill - you don't need certifications for undergraduate
