McKinsey Stay In-Touch Program
Hi All, After finishing my first round at McKinsey, I was invited back to a second-round on the spot. Prior to attending my second round at McKinsey, I was offered a position at another firm and had 24-hours to accept. After accepting the offer at the other firm, I followed up with McKinsey. They were really nice and helpful and the recruiting manager mentioned that there was a "stay in-touch" program. Has anyone heard about this "program", or is this just a formality? Thanks
Wait, you got an offer before you had your second round? I've never heard of that happening.
Actually, it's not even a detail. He got an offer from another firm.
Yeah, the exact same thing happened to me when I was going for a summer intern position. I accepted another job before my McKinsey interview and they asked to stay in touch. It basically just means they keep you in the database and will email you every once in a while to check in
